A great way to start off the spring!
Once again this year, our club will be participating in the Beaches Lions Easter Parade. The parade is on Sunday, April 16th, begins at 2 pm, and is approximately 1 hr. in duration. The parade runs along Queen St. E (in the Beaches) heading west starting at Neville Park and ending at Woodbine Ave. The parade typically attracts 45,000-55,000 spectators, so this is a great way to advertise our club!
Easter is a bit later this year, so we are hoping many of our club members will have their Z’s out by then. Last year, despite it being quite early in March and rather chilly, we still had about 6-8 cars in the parade and we all had a lot fun! We should get better weather this year, so we are hoping for a larger number of cars this time around. If you would like to join in the fun this year please email Lee asap and/or post a reply to the thread for this event in our forum. Even if your Z is still put away for the winter (in April?) hopefully you can still come out as a spectator and cheer us on :-)
